Adopt An IDP Training Initiative
In 2021, Dynamic Alliance USA (DAU) and Community Refugee Relief Initiative (CRRI) partnered and
launched the ‘Adopt an IDP Training Initiative.’ The goal of this initiative was to train/empower displaced
persons in Cameroon. The program was piloted in Bamenda and Dschang.
The partnership between CRRI and DAU aims at bringing charitable support to families and individuals
affected by the Anglophone Crisis. Both organizations look to provide self-empowering solutions to
selected Internally Displaced Persons (IDP).
Some of the training areas include tailoring, hair dressing, auto mechanic, glass work and aluminum,
metal work, carpentry, food (snacks), and computer training.
Both organizations are enormously proud of this program which has changed the lives of over seventy-
five IDPs to date. In 2023, the program extended to a third city, Douala where 18 IDPs were part of the
first batch.
Both organizations are still committed to this program and look forward to working with other
organizations to change the lives of all who have been affected by the Anglophone Crisis.
